Before the start of your day, before you pick that phone up, or attempt your shot at a brilliant email you thought up. Remind yourself, how do I want to show up today? Am I going to be a person of influence, or just a generic robot speaking off, of powerpoint?
Top salespeople are influencers with dedicated task lists who show up with courage and enthusiasm rather then a generic ego. Starting a day strong means having done your to do list the night before. Knowing how to prioritize your time affectively and selfishly protecting your time, is the most important aspect of your day.
Refuse to be the generic product dumper but rather become a person of influence. Ask questions and patiently listen without interruption, keep calm with your emotions and prospect wisely. Show up enthusiastic, sharp and a force to be reckoned with. Remember to practice your ABC’s (Always. Be. Closing).
